Takings pic's of birds is a tricky business due to the nature of the subject. Sometimes the little buggers won't sit still long enough for you to get a shot off. Blue-mantled Crested Flycatcher Trochocercus cyanomelas and Fairy Flycatcher Stenostira scita are cases in point. They are so active that not only skill but luck is required for you to get a decent pic and you can literally take hours getting that one decent pic provided the bird does not do a disappearing act. So, before you start your hunt make sure you have your camera settings correct. However, the reward after taking that one special pic is most satisfying. Enjoy ! The pic below is of a Neddicky Cisticola fulvicapilla who I captured rather early on a cool morning before it became active.
